In 2006, Angie Boyd-Chambers came to Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital and served as the public relations director. She was responsible for marketing and communications for the 286 patient bed hospital. She led PR and marketing efforts for the $267 million project for Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital’s replacement facility.
Before coming to Saint Thomas Health, she lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., where she worked for JHA Marketing as a product specialist and facilitator for BMW and its Mini Cooper division.
Angie is a recipient of the 2014 Wall of Fame for the Mass Communications Department at Middle Tennessee State University and a recipient of the Rising Star award with Rutherford CABLE. She served as co-chair for the 2014 Rutherford County Heart Ball and is on the board of directors for the ATHENA International Board of Directors. She is a member of Nashville and Rutherford CABLE and serves as vice president of PR and marketing for the 2014-2015 Nashville CABLE board of directors.
Lauren is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to grow volume for new & existing physicians, practices, and the various service lines within Saint Thomas Health. She coordinates and manages the development of marketing and advertising materials, events, programs and screenings.
Lauren has always had a passion for health care. She started her career at Saint Thomas Midtown (formerly Baptist Hospital) in 2009 as a phlebotomist while pursing her degree in Mass Communication at Middle Tennessee State University. During her senior capstone course at MTSU, she represented the school with four other classmates in Washington D.C. winning first place for an ad campaign while competing against other Universities around the country.
In 2012, she joined the Saint Thomas Health marketing and communications team as an intern, and now serves as the Director of Marketing for the system.

Nick leads the development and implementation of procedures and strategies, building a brand journalism model by producing and reporting print and video stories for Saint Thomas Health.
Nick has more than 20 years of experience in television news as an anchor and reporter. He is an Emmy-nominated reporter, was named AP Best News Anchor in Tennessee, and is a three-time AP Best Sports Feature reporter.
Jessica receives and assigns both internal and external project requests for the department. Projects may include everything from advertising needs to news releases. Duties also include communications and marketing projects for new physicians and their practices. The project manager ensures that all projects follow the STH Strategic Initiatives and the ministry mission and objectives.
Jessica has 20 years of experience in healthcare communications and marketing. Before coming to work with Sa in 1995, Jessica was a broadcast journalist for seventeen years including thirteen years as a reporter and anchor with WKRN in Nashville, where she was nominated for two regional Emmys.
Evan is responsible for managing internal communications campaigns that promote associate engagement and morale. She serves as the primary communicator of organization-wide internal messages.
A Nashville native, Evan joined Saint Thomas Health in 2016 after working with a variety of healthcare companies, government agencies and nonprofit organizations at MP&F public relations. She received the Jack Detweiler Professional Promise Award for Public Relations at her alma mater, the University of Florida, and has since completed Belmont University's "Mini MBA" certificate program.
Barry W. Wallace
Barry oversees the placement and design of all online content including websites, social media, mobile sites and multimedia. He has worked in the healthcare field for 17 years in various web design and management roles. He joined the Saint Thomas Health team in 2013 and was awarded the Great Circle of Faith Award for going above and beyond in exhibiting the core values of the Saint Thomas ministry.
Brett has more than 20 years of experience in video production and post production. He has been on the team at Saint Thomas Health for 13 years and is responsible for shooting and editing videos for both internal and external communications. He produces promotional, broadcast, educational, and corporate videos. Brett also manages the closed-circuit television system, audio/video support, and more.
Under overall direction of the director of marketing, Michelle is responsible for supporting marketing strategies for Saint Thomas’ physicians, practices, and other services. She helps to coordinate the preparation, development and implementation of events, programs and marketing materials for Saint Thomas.
After graduating from James Madison University, Michelle served as a public relations account executive at Cone Communications in Boston and later with McNeely, Pigott & Fox in downtown Nashville. Michelle joined the Saint Thomas Health marketing and communications team in 2015 as the PR/Communications specialist.
Ian is part of the media team responsible for shooting, producing, writing and editing videos to reinforce the Saint Thomas Health brand. This includes day to day coverage for HealthBeatNews, internal videos as well as Nothing Shall Be Impossible stories on patients and hospital staff.
Ian is a graduate of Michigan State University where he studied broadcasting and journalism. He has spent the last six years working in news at WZTV Fox 17 as a videographer and editor. He is an Emmy-nominated videographer and editor, as well as a five time Associated Press winner for videography, editing, and storytelling.
Diane has been a member of the Saint Thomas Health team for 12 years. She manages schedules, conferences, events, and appointments for a team of 12 people, and is responsible for all invoicing and vendor transactions for the Marketing Team.
Diane also offers administrative support for various fundraisers, special events, and projects for Rebecca Climer and her team.
