Each year, Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital, part of Ascension, delivers nearly 7,000 babies, more than any other hospital in Middle Tennessee.  The hospital is there for you and your baby, even when the unthinkable happens.

Despite many advances in prenatal care, one in seven newborns at need NICU care. As you watch babies in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) struggle to breathe and stay warm, you understand why prematurity is the leading cause of newborn death. And as you watch parents struggle with the loss of a child, you understand why your support is so important.

Tennessee Titans Head Football Coach Mike Mularkey has seen first hand how the NICU and the staff help families.  He's supporting newborn babies and the annual Rock the Cradle through the Saint Thomas Health Foundation.  The event is October 25, 2016 at Loveless Barn in Nashville.

Your support gives these fragile babies a fighting chance to survive. Your support provides critical continuing education for NICU and obstetrics staff to learn the latest research and best practices in caring for newborns.  Your support provides cutting-edge technology and advances in care for all babies born at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital. Your support provides many families with a place to stay, so they can be near their baby.
