There’s a reason you’ve always been told to sit up straight! It could save you from neck and back pain according to Charlene Challenger­Smith, a physical therapist with Saint Thomas Outpatient Rehabilitation.

Challenger­Smith says having bad posture could possibly lead to injury, overuse, and pain. If you sit in front of a computer all day, it can put a real strain on your muscles. Having the proper chair is important, too.
